Hello and welcome!! My name is Christiana Vasilas, and I am a New York based photographer and website consultant. I have been honing my skills in photography for nearly two decades; having studied under top photographers at NYU, as well as at the Olympus, Nikon, and National Geographic photography schools.
This website is a labor of love, and an opportunity for me to share my travel stories & photos with you all. I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and Europe, seeking out the well known and hidden experiences! I will be sharing my travel stories, favorite restaurants and photography spots from around the world in my newsletter, blog, and page.
Left to right: In the first photo I am standing on Prebends Bridge over the River Wear in Durham, UK with Durham Cathedral in the background. (Fun Fact - several of the Harry Potter films were shot onsite there.) In the second photo, I am standing in the Cholla Cactus Garden in the Joshua Tree National Park, at 6am surrounded by thousands of cacti glowing in the rising sun, lizards and the occasional desert fox. (Fun Fact: the cacti only glow at dawn!) In the last photo, I am standing in front of the fountain in Rossio Square, Lisbon - one of my favorite cities!
