Evzone Collections

Under the auspices of the Consulate of Greece in New York,

Christiana Vasilas proudly presents the "Evzones on Fifth" collection of fine art prints from the 2022 Greek Independence Day Parade. For 2 years, the Greek American community, together with fellow Hellenes across the world, were not able to commemorate the 99th and 100th anniversaries of Greek Independence.  This year, Christiana was granted special permission to photograph the Evzones on their return to New York. These collections celebrate our armed forces, Hellenic spirit, and honors the heroes of 1821 whose memory is woven into every stitch of the "stoles".
